Ministries

When you think about church, it’s easy to focus on the weekend services. While a church service is usually the first experience people have with CCC, there are many avenues for people to get connected with God, the church, and with others.

Quality relationships develop when people connect with others through common bonds. That’s why we have created environments based on seasons of life, age or shared interests. These gatherings become a practical place for people to connect, support each other and make friends.

Our hope is that you and your family will plug in to one or more of the following ministries:

SOLDOUT & NITRO: Junior & Senior High School Students (7th-12th Grades)

Students are invited to join us each Wednesday night from 7-9 pm. We meet at our Youth Building a.k.a “Da Hut”, that has its own game-room, kitchen and sanctuary! We meet to discuss our faith in Christ, our process in discipleship and our understanding of the Bible in a setting that youth enjoy.

Every year, CCC youth attend retreats at different locations. Its a great time for students to “unplug” from many of life’s distractions and have an experience that many students describe as, “the best weekend of their lives!”

J.A.M : “Jesus and Me”, Children’s Ministry

When it comes to children, we know they thrive when given age-specific programs that are both fun and educational. JAM is a place where kids love to come week after week.

Our strategy is simply to incite WONDER, provoke DISCOVERY, and fuel PASSION in the heart of every child. These interlocking essentials are part of a key strategy we use to partner with parents. Our goal is to help kids see God for who He is and to see themselves the way God sees them, so they can love others the way God loves them.

Each Sunday morning during the worship service, children from 5 years old to 4th grade get together for their own interactive worship service. Following the group worship service, they participate in their own age appropriate classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction.

NURSERY : Birth – 3yrs.

CCC believes in ministering to the needs of every age group, including our littlest ones. While parents enjoy the adult services, they can rest assured their babies are receiving personal care in a safe and nurturing environment. Our qualified servant leaders create a positive church experience that introduces infants to a love for Jesus early on. All CCC children’s workers must be willing to a background check.

Middle-Schoolers: 5th – 8th Graders
Sometimes as a kid, you can feel caught in the middle. You’re in middle school, feeling like you’re no longer a child, but not yet a teenager. You are too old for children’s church, but not old enough for the youth group. You’re just between, a middle-schooler, and that’s pretty epic!

We have a Sunday morning class designed just for middle-schoolers! Following the worship part of service, meet us in the foyer area were a leader will then take you to our CCS building for a way cool time that is made just for you! We meet the first and third Sunday of each month.

INSTE

We are privileged to offer college level discipleship courses here in our facilities. INSTE is the acronym for Institute of Theology by Extension. Know that schedules, finances, and location can seriously limit the opportunity to study the Word of God with the structure that a Bible college can offer, we have both Spring and Fall classes available to anyone interested. http://www.inste.edu/

INTERCESSORY PRAYER

Jesus told us, ” I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.” We know that prayer makes a difference and moves the heart of God! We welcome you to come to any one of our prayer gatherings during the week:

  • Sunday prayer: 9:45 am, before each morning service. We gather in the Prayer Tent.
  • Intercessory Prayer Teams: Teams meet Sunday mornings during service.
  • Wednesday Prayer Meetings: Join us any Wednesdays at 6:30 am in the sanctuary or  Noon in the Prayer Tent for prayer and worship.  Come and go as your schedule allows. Also, communion is served during the Noon meeting. During inclement weather, the Noon prayer meets in the sanctuary.

PRAYER CHAIN

As requests and various situations come to our attention, we alert our  members through email,  knowing that as we agree together in prayer, God hears us and circumstances change.

MUSIC MINISTRY

Our mission in the CCC worship department is to bring people into the presence of God through praise and worship. Worship is an essential key to a strong intimate relationship with God. We were created to worship God and to bring glory to His name.

CORNERSTONE CLASSICAL SCHOOLPre K to 12th grade

In 2012 God placed a deep burden on our hearts to firmly establish in our children the foundation of a strong, biblical worldview, helping them to be able to face the challenges that would come against their faith and to train them to be a strong voice in their generation. Our desire is to have a greater impact in the area of supporting our Christian families and children in our valley. Our school offers excellent programs from preschool through 12th grade. http://www.cornerstonebasalt.com/

CORNERSTONE School of Ministry

Christ Community Church’s school of ministry for adults exists primarily to teach, equip, train and commission believers, with a strong emphasis on healing. Our students are serious in pursuing their call to the Lord’s ministry. Our goal is to equip students in the five-fold ministry: apostle, prophet, teacher, evangelist, and pastor.

Courses start in October and run through May, on Wednesday nights, from 5:30 pm  to 9:30 pm. One Saturday a month, students meet from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is a two year course, with a  fee of $650.00 per year, per student, plus the cost of required reading materials. This cost covers only those expenses to run the school, such as student handbooks, packet and binders, and special speakers. There is a discount for couples taking the course. It is an intense teaching with much Bible reading and other required books, as well as outreach, connection and revival.
