Our Purposes
We believe God has given Christ Community Church five purposes to use as guidelines to keep us on course. If we maintain balance and pursue these purposes, we will accomplish the mission God has for our church. These five purposes come from two biblical passages, the Great Commandment, Matthew 22:36-40, and the Great Commission, Matthew 28:19-20
Great Commandment
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments." Matthew 22:36-40
Great Commission
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
